Communication between Guests and Hosts in the YESH Travel club both on and offline requires people to treat each other with civility, respect, and consideration.
You will never need to give out your contact details, i.e. phone number or email address. However, we suspect you may do if you have built a relationship with the host or guest. But, you are not obliged too and YESH will never pass on your contact details.
Following these guidelines will help make the YESH experience a better place for us all:
Respect Others: Differing cultures, lifestyles and ideals are the point of the travel Club. Please keep in mind the Travel Club is built on Hospitality.
Member Interactions within the app: The app was designed to protect all parties prior to meeting in person. It is against a YESH policy to pass on or request contact details.
Report Violations: If you feel another person is violating Yesh policies, you are required to let us know immediately.
Clearly indicate intentions It’s really important to let your guests know any requirements that you might have. For example, if you are charging a fee for the night or you prefer guests don’t wear shoes inside or no unmarried couples in the same bed.
Requesting contact details in the app is forbidden. It is also uncomfortable to say no. Yesh has made every effort to protect the privacy of its users. It is also a safety feature – If all communication is kept within the app. you have written correspondence. So, please do not ask for Hosts or Guests’ phone number or address.
Keep your Calendar updated This will ensure guests receive a fair indication of availability and will ensure the integrity of the app.
